Samuel L. Jackson portrays Nick Fury, the ex-director of S.H.I.E.L.D., who has been occupied with developing S.A.B.E.R., an incredibly intricate aerospace defense system. Despite being stationed in outer space, he comes back to Earth when the Skrulls pose a grave danger, potentially plunging humanity into a state of war.
